Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We hope you find everything you’re looking for.

I joined the school in April 2017, after Mrs Jones retired with twenty- one year’s service at the school. I am pleased that the school continues to build on Mrs Jones’ legacy; with it’s excellent reputation, strong Catholic ethos, warm family atmosphere and determination to be the best it can be. At St Mary’s we strive for Academic excellence every moment of the day as well as ensuring that our pupils and staff are nurtured to grow their talents in all areas and above all are happy!

We are proud of our wonderful school, which is so enriched by the diversity of cultures that the children and families bring and share. We are also blessed by the strong parish links with the Catholic Church of St Mary’s, just next door.

Being part of the Blessed Cyprian Tansi Academy has enabled us to forge stronger bonds with the schools in the Academy; especially Delisle Catholic Secondary School in Loughborough, our main feeder school. We are part of an even larger MAT, called the Thomas Aquinas Multi- Academy Trust with the 21 Catholic schools in Leicestershire from September 2018.

The central location of the school in Loughborough means that we can take up beneficial opportunities from the University and be a part of the Loughborough Alliance of Schools. Due to the close location of the town shopping centre in Loughborough, we are able to enrich the curriculum wonderfully and as you can see on our other pages, there is so much community involvement.

We are a single form entry school, starting from Foundation to Year Six and this small setting creates a warm family. atmosphere,

At St Mary’s School we are all highly dedicated to enabling the children and staff to achieve their potential and aspire to be more. We aim to also fully prepare the children for life in the twenty- first Century. We warmly invite you to visit our fantastic school.

If you have any queries, please contact the school directly. We aim to update the website as often as possible; if there is any information you would like that is not on our website,  contact the school and we will be happy to address this. We’d also be delighted if you would like to visit and see the wonderful learning that takes place. Open Days 14th November and the 5th of December. 9-3p.m.
